Stone Heritage

Some of the worlds most beautiful, durable and useable stone, Yorkstone, is quarried and cut  here in the Pennines.

There are many pictures of old yorkstone flagstones on this web site, some of reclaimed yorkstone paving in my yard ready for dispatch and some of yorkstone flags that have been laid on terraces, patios and paths as well as pictures taken in the saw mill of new yorkstone being cut for paving .

We have developed longstanding relationships with york stone quarry owners, yorkstone saw mills and masons who specialise in working yorkstone. We  produce new sawn yorkstone paving, steps and coping, peir caps and plinths cut to your specification.

I work with a range of site clearance specialists and contractors to maintain extensive stocks of reclaimed yorkstone paving, old yorkstone setts and old Yorkstone kerbs along with granite setts, cubes and kerb.

Stone Heritage provides a specialist service to gardeners and professionals about yorkstone. We give advice and supply newly quarried sawn yorkstone and old reclaimed yorkstone to gardeners, landscape architects, architects, local authorities, designers, contractors, landscapers and developers.

Over the years we have provided yorkstone paving to some of the most prestigious projects including the Jewel House at the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Osbourne House and the Queen Victoria Memorial and the pavement in front of the railings outside Buckingham Palace.

Stone Heritage holds large stocks of reclaimed yorkstone paving, and cuts newly quarried yorkstone to your design.

Extensive stocks of  old yorkstone paving are available for immediate delivery and new sawn yorkstone is cut to specification.

We also recommend Crown Topiary in Hertfordshire for specialist topiary supply
